Our 31st annual “Light A Candle for Life” Prayer Vigil seemed better this year. Why? In part, because it was held on Friday, January 20th, the day of the Inauguration of President Donald J. Trump. It was now official! We had a Pro-Life President!!
It was also better because
God blessed us with rain stopped at 3pm, the sun came out and nearly 75 people came to Kennedy Square to kneel, pray and light 1,000 luminaria in memory of the 60 million American babies lost to abortion and in concern and sympathy for their Mom’s.
“In the past 44 years, we have prayed,
believed and hoped that the evil of abortion would end. Most of us believed that it would only end with the Supreme Court overturning the 1973 Roe vs. Wade and Doe vs. Bolton. Today, with the Inauguration of Pres. Donald J. Trump, who said he will nominate pro-life justices to the Court, we may see the beginning of the end.” (A few of my words at Kennedy Square.)
Thanks Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch.
Please pray for President Trump. He isn’t perfect; but he is working night and day to protect and defend life and our nation.
